Local camera store owner (been one of my retail exhibit locations for
last 20 years) ask me to take.."some real nice pictures for me to show
folks when demonstrating the Pentax DL".
I'm nosy, so agreed to try and, at the same time, give myself a chance
to get an impression of its work and handling.
He provided the 18~55 kit lens and a Promaster 28~200 (says it's
Tamron). He got all puffed up over the quality of shots taken with the
kit lens (I thought the 4x did look extremely crisp) and wants to
compare it to the Promaster with a variety of enlargement he plans to
use for all sorts of comparisons.
I have AF and A lenses I'll try, but have some K and M's as well. Seems
I've read here that some use them on their D. I just brought the thing
home and am asking someone to kindly give me a brief teach as to
how..if possible.
Shutting down for the evening, but will look for some hits in the
morning.

Thanks all,

Jack
