I find i am a lot more sussessfull that way than using AF-C,Pentax or
Nikon bodies..
I quite often use this technique, too. In fact I'll often do this even
if the camera is set to AF-C; it avoids the camera deciding to focus on
something way out of range when there's nothing interesting in the frame.
