The lack of sharpness in a photograph can have many causes. Subject movement, camera movement, out of focus, overexposure (film), film/sensor is not in the "film" plane, lens is loose, lens is faulty, lens i dirty, sonsor is dirty etc., etc. You contimue the list - it os very long, I'm sure. This hasn't got anything to do with math, unless you are guessing, of cause. It's simply an assessment of the photograph. In this case it was number 3 on the list. Regards
