Sorry, what I meant is that it depends on the mount contacts.  Motorized AF
lenses won't have a drive shaft, but driven by the power supplied from the
mount contacts.  I can see Pentax using the PZ contacts for older cameras
but how old it can go back, I am not too familiar with the mount contacts,
although I know this was discussed in great detail one time or another in
the past.
