You know, I originally put up that page strictly as something
temporary for a few PDML members to see. But it kept growing and
getting hits. It's now linked from all over the place and I get a
couple of emails a month asking about these lenses.
It sold me on getting the rev3 version. Found a good one on
eekbay about a year ago. Having the 'A' was worth it even for the 1/3
stop slower at the long range over the rev1, rev2.
Only trouble is it seems to be pretty flare-prone and loses a lot
of contrast in that case. If you keep it under control, it's really nice.
