I like your challenge very much, Shel, and be sure I'll try to devote the sparse spare time I got to try and get something out of it. Arnaud Frisch's book contains some interesting examples of "different" panoramas... http://arnaudfrichphoto.com/ As David stated, people in the field can be a challenge, but it can also be the source of interesting creativity... Just imagine the same person(s) at several places in the same image (to "tell a story", for instance). In Arnaud's book, there's a photo by an asian photographer I can't remember the name right now, showing a crowd of naked women in a huge room... On close examination, only 3 or 4 models actually posed for the scene, in a unique, smaller room, photographed at different times, with slightly different decoration, and "glued" side-by-side seamlessly (the photos, not the women)... The result was quite strange to my taste, but definitely original. I'm very looking forward to see what pops out of this challenge Shel invites us into. Patrice
