here's how I decide. I take a Leica unless there's a good reason not to. Good reasons include the following: 1. I want to use colour film (I'm a Leica snob who refuses to sully their precious innards with colour film) 2. I want to use a lens other than 35mm, 50mm or 90mm (which is not very often) 3. I want to use flash (which is very rare) In those cases I take one or more SLRs. But I often take the Leicas anyway. Regards, Bob
