Presuming it is the mid 80's Takumar bayonet mount, it was
Pentax's answer to all the cheap and dirty third party lenses
that were coming onto the market. Apparently, it's mechanical
construction and optical formulation is identical to the SMCP-A
series lens it is contemporaneous with, but is only multicoated
on the front and rear lens surfaces, and single coated on the
internal lens surfaces.
I recall them as being a pretty good lens, though they were
somewhat prone to flare.
