Darn,
Wish I could have taken a screenshot. Yesterday, a large number of auctions came onto the Aussie ebay site with a 1 day closing. High priced items like the FA*300, mobile phones and playstations, and $55 starting price. None had a real photo, all were commercial product shots. The auctions had nonsensical comments like "we are an authorized Pentax dealer", although that was the only Pentax lens they were offering. The "seller" had 18 feedbacks. The scam was so blatant you had to laugh.
Soon, someone posted a warning not to buy...the auctions were placed using a stolen account. And yet, there were still a few people bidding.
