Here's a different response - I have never used a Pentax Flash.
I own a Metz 40MZ-2 with a handle grip and the TTL Ext. Cable.
Love it - it's a wonderful piece of equipment. I recently shot a
wedding with it, and the pictures turned out great (haven't scanned
any yet, hopefully soon....) But I used the flash under protest, the
wedding was performed in a theater, and I HATE using flash in
the theater (I consider it an insult to the lighting designer, and
it's a huge distraction for those around as the theater was quite
dark).

As far as features go, the Metz has all the ones you listed, but
the only ones that got used are the bounce/swivel head. For
the formals I preferred using a couple reflectors rather than flash
fill, the lighting looks much more natural that way.

Cheers!
Brian

PS I used 2 cameras for that shoot, the Z1p for candids and the
ceremony, and the formals were all taken with a 67II.
