That's a bit misleading.  Quantum makes a cable for the Pentax
AF500FTZ that lets you power the flash from the Quantum Turbo
battery.  Believe me, you could shoot a whole wedding and still
have flash power left over.  The quantum Turbo isn't real cheap
but it's real good.  Ask TV or Ken Archer if you aren't willing
to take my word for it.
