You're correct that high-speed film is has a shorter shelf life than
400 speed or slower film, and that it can deteriorate even when
refrigerated or frozen. What's the expiration date on the package? Is
the film refrigerated or frozen? Stored in a lead, or lead-lined
container or without any special considerations?
