Think I'll throw in a comment myself. 

This and the other shot has two main problems. 

First: I need t get closer to get some more details. A will work on this. I
am working on making a hide.

Second: The light. There is enough light, that's not a real problem, but the
background is boring grey in both (and in all the rest of the shots on the
card). So I am talking quality, not quantity. 

These shots depend on the tide. No tide, no birds. Right now the low tide is
in the middle of the day, and around midnight. The chances for better light
are rather poor at the moment. This will change. 

So while waiting for the "perfect" light I will experiment with getting
closer. I also need to be more observant about the quality of the light.
