And the WP/W-series "periscope" lens is a lot better than the one in the S-series Optios.
No viewfinder, sorry.

Hi all,

What is the current feeling about the Optio S4? I'm thinking of getting
one for my wife who
expressed a desire to take pictures recently. Or is there something
newer, or better, in the
Pentax P&S line that might do? I used a friends S5Z last year and it was
easy to use and
gave decent results.
Consider getting Optio WPi or W10 - that's a real fun when you can take
photos in the rain or in the swimming pool or sea not having to worry about your equipment :-) I guess they give decent image quality for digicam too. I
have older waterproof Optio 33WR and using it in extreme conditions is a
great experience :-)
