I waited too long to sell mine. I spent $6500 on it and got, no joke, $500 for it, even though it included a six month old new dryer assembly that cost me $700.
I tried to give it to the local college because I knew their colour processor was on its last legs, but they didn't want to give me a receipt for the donation. I was horrified by what I was offered when I sold off other parts of my darkroom. Peanuts. Now is absolutely the time to build a darkroom on the cheap, if you're so inclined -- you can get top end stuff for what the bottom of the barrel used to cost. -Aaron -----Original Message----- From: Bob Shell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subj: Re: Workflow Date: Wed Mar 29, 2006 9:03 am Size: 854 bytes To: [email protected] On Mar 29, 2006, at 7:57 AM, Aaron Reynolds wrote: > I had a 20" Fujimoto in the colour darkroom that was apparently a > notorious machine for sweating. > I had one of those beasts, too. Glad I got rid of it ages ago when they still brought high prices. Unfortunately, I didn't sell the companion enlarger, so I still have one of those Fujimoto automated color enlargers in storage. Probably only good as a boat anchor these days. > I kept the paper out in the fridge and the lenses on the shelf > outside the room when they weren't being used. All that, and that I no longer have constant sinus infections! We'll all probably live longer for getting out of our darkrooms. Bob
