Pretty dog. Nice shot. On my work monitor, which is only roughly
calibrated, it seems to lack >shadow detail in that the eyes don't separate
out from the hair very well. A little tweak of black >level might be called
for, but I can't say for sure with this monitor. In any case, a good grab.

Thanks Paul. My work monitor is a piece of junk as well, though I processed
this on my laptop. I did already select the eyes and lighten them just a
touch with curves. It looks fine & natural on my laptop. I think it may be
a problem shooting dark haired animals with dark eyes. :-) There's also a
little reflection coming off *her* right eye that's reducing contrast a
little.
Do you sense the problem equally in both eyes?
