I've read that most RAW importers automatically clean up hot pixels, so.... you'd need to turn off that feature (if possible) to use RAW to test it. Otherwise, try it with JPG. I've found that 1/4 - 1/2 second exposures at ISO 1600 make about 13 points (some bright, some not so much) show up on the screen in various shades of color. :- ( Usually after shooting for a while (so the first few minutes it all comes out clean).
