I had just put the borrowed 77 (from my favorite Pentax rep) on my
LX to take a couple of last shots before sending the lens back (holding back
the tears), and I noticed the difficulty in getting a sharp image in the
finder. I substituted another FA-1 and verified it is the FA-1 not the
camera�s fault.
Anyhow, the faulty FA-1 rattles when I move it. Obviously something
inside it is loose. Is it worth taking the FA-1 apart and seeing if there
is something I can tighten in it? Or, should I just send it off to get
repaired? Or is it even worth sending off?
Thinking it may be an excuse to get another type of finder,
