Appr. 100 USD.
They are absolutely woth it.
They don't degrade the foto's recogniseable - except you need longer
exposure/larger aperture.
The optical quality is excellent - or more correctly - it's simply
brilliant, actually!

I paid 60GP for mine - which turned out to be one of the very best optical
investments, I ever made.
Of course the lens used along with it (best with primes) is equally
important.
I use it a lot with my M* 4/300mm, K 2.5/135mm and K2.8/105mm which are all
excellent SMC Pentax lenses.
I can give this tool my best recommendation any day.
