No doubt this has been answered already, but I'm getting little PDML post in today. I asked this question here several years ago and the conclusion was to buy. I bought stock (50 rolls) that was 8 years past it's 'use by' date and didn't have any quality issues at all. Saved a bundle too. Malcolm
