Boris ... it would seem that you (should) know your child better than any of us. All kids are different. My niece loved the little camera I gave her, and used it for a while. A friend's son thought a camera was the stupidest gift he could ever have received, much preferring music oriented items. Bruce's kids seem to enjoy photography, and, it seems, have developed some preferences for the type of cameras they like. Just get her the camera and see what happens ...
