Actually, I agree with you.  I'm satisfied with the 1GB cards, although I
can see getting a 2GB card for a number of reasons.  I mostly asked about
the 4GB card for a friend who recently bought a DS, but possibly for my own
consideration as well..  My next card purchase will probably be a 2GB card
because, in the price range I want to pay, and considering the brands
available in that price range, the 2GB capacity cards are often faster than
their 1GB counterpart, and will speed downloading and file transfer.  Plus,
I want to see if cards faster than the ones I have will have any effect on
the transfer rates within the camera. Of course, the additional capacity is
nice to have, even though there's only been one time that I've filled a 1GB
card.
