Thanks for the welcome messages!!
Instead of replying to the various messages, I'll just reply once to avoid
adding volume to an already busy mail list. I'm glad I set up a separate
email box for this!!
Bob and Chris, thanks for sharing you comments about your experience in
going semi-pro and building your expertise. Very helpful for me as well as
many others lurkers I'm sure. The links members post to various websites are
great.
I have been lurking on the digest for some time and have had the great
pleasure of admiring the works on pug. One day I will be sharing.
I live in Vancouver, BC and hubby and I spend as much time as we can
exploring BC's wilderness. I didn't really plan on getting into photography
until a local dealer talked me out of a point and shoot and sold me a MZ-7
just a year and a half ago. I now have both the Mz-7 and MZ-S. Since then,
I've bought are read (most more than once) a coule dozen books, spend
endless hours on the net, and of course shoot tons of flim. I have a long
road before me yet but I am still passionate about photography.
Anyway, enough rambling. I'll return to my ranks as a lurker until I have a
comment or question worth posting.
