Shel and Paul,

First, I converted the psd file to sRGB, then "Saved
for Web,"  I got a bright, low-contrast,
low-saturation jpg for the web.

Second, I tried clicking the box to attach the ICC
profile to the image.  No difference.

Third, I tried saving the sRGB psd file as a large
jpg, then "Saving for Web."  The jpg looks just like
the psd, but the Saved for Web jpg is bright and low
in contrast and saturation.

For my most recent PESO, I cranked the brightness down
and the contrast way up before using "Save for Web." 
That worked, but it's trial-and-error to get the web
image to match the original.

I'm stumped.
