Another case of the lost post... I never saw mike's original one. And he probably never saw my early reply to Tim explaining "TIGGER" and yesterday, oddly just after I put the pussyat up for you guys to see, Earl Woods passed away. (Tiger's father, for anyone who doesn't know.) I've never played golf except for mini-golf, but my partner had played quite a bit and I got into watching it. I had shot pool for years and since golf is "cow-pasture pool" - well, I could get interested. I find it soothing to have a golf tourney on while doing chores... The fact that it takes place in beautiful surroundings helps, too.
