The strength of the Canadian dollar is a good thing. Canadian purchases
of American goods have increased considerably. And thanks to the
administration's action on the lumber tariffs, we're buying more
Canadian goods as well. But I miss being able to eat a slab of ribs for
less than ten bucks at Tunnel Barbecue. Can't have it all.

Yea, and you'd be spending Canadian Dollarettes...
Don't be making fun.
Our dollar's strong and yours has been weakish - we're up over 90
cents on your dollar (up from a low of about 60 cents on the dollar
just a few years ago). Experts (what, economists are experts? har!)
say that within a year, our dollar may overtake yours.
We'll see who's talking about dollarettes this time next year! <g>
cheers,
frank
