I'm just mainly trying out different methods of producing B&W

most flexibility so far. But without further a-do here it is:

Technical Info:
Pentax *ist-Ds ISO 400 @ 1/125sec
smc Pentax-FA 20-35mm f4.0 AL @ f5.6 (28mm)

As usual comments are welcome but may be totally ignored, (even those I
like,, and agree with, by the way).
Since my last couple of B&W conversions seem to have been ignored, I
might as well solicit comments.

The B&W conversion looks okay, though I am not a B&W gal and no expert on
that. However, it does have tonal range.

Pic doesn't do much for me though, it seems to bang the eye from table to
rock to dome in the background. Not an even and smooth eye progression -- more
if
a bumpy one. I think a different angle on the table or rock would have been
better, or just including one or the other, but not both. There seems to be
very little connection between things. While this may work sometimes, like with
your Zen stuff, it doesn't work all the time. At least not for me.

Sorry, that's the best that I can put it in words -- i.e. it doesn't ring my
chimes.
