More mpx in a sensor the same size as the current one might lead to more noise, or so I've come to understand. However, considering the state of digital photography these days, that's a problem that should, hopefully, be overcome by now. What factors will affect the amount of noise generated by smaller pixels, especially at higher ISO ratings?
