In addition, I find the implementation of both the ISO and white balance on the DS2 to be vastly superior to the D, which involved hand-moving and neck contortions -- on the DS2 (and DS and DL, I believe), you don't have to change your hand positions from your "shooting" grip -- the changes are made with a couple of thumb taps and you simply have to take your eye away from the finder to see what you're doing. With the D, you have to move your lens hand to the top of the camera (or change the way you cradle it), and also either turn your camera over or move your head up so you can see the top of the camera body.

I understand the desire to have switches for everything, but I don't understand the preference for poorly-placed switches.
