Hmmm ... I suppose I understand what you mean by "tech oriented",
although I'm not 100% sure.  I don't see choosing an emulsion, or a
paper for that matter, so much as a technical choice as an artistic or
an expressive choice.  I see cameras and lenses as technical.  I feel
that I'm unable to fully express my vision with many of the films and
the papers that I've tried.
