the problems w/ IR film (Kodak HIE, anyway) in cameras is
        generally the result of fogging along the edges by the IR
        "sprocket-counter" beam used in newer autowind bodies. 

        Your MX will be just fine.  Remember to load your HIE in 
        total darkness - never expose even the leader to any light.
        Be sure whoever processes it *KNOWS WHAT THEY"RE DOING!*

        the Konica 750nm IR is more forgiving to getting light on
        it, but still - keep it to a minimum
