Michel, I've been using the Kodak Photo CD for several years now (almost 400
images) and have yet to discover any serious issues with it. I pay a little
less than $2 per scan in batches. Have never tried customs scans and from my
experience I probably won't unless I want higher resolution. I generally
have to set the light and dark point in photoshop and occasionally some
slight color tweaking, but other than that - that's it. I've generally been
outputting up to 8"X10" prints on my Epson Stylus Photo printer from the CD
and they're great.
Hope this helps.
