Keywords, IPTC titles/descriptions/locations/etc, and * rating  
metadata settings transfer from Bridge to Lightroom beta 3. Color  
flags do not.

I'm not so sure that Camera Raw metadata parameter settings are  
compatible. The RAW conversion engine is based on Camera Raw but  
seems to be somewhat different in implementation and results.

I think it's sensible to presume that the final release will 'do the  
right thing' with regard to all the metadata stored in an image file  
that met with the EXIF and IPTC standards. If it doesn't, I'd  
consider that a bug, not an intentional omission.

BTW: Lightroom Beta 3 on Mac OS X is FAR faster and more capable than  
Beta 2 was.
