I recently picked up a couple of little
neoprene pouches with drawstring cords
that you can attach to your belt or clip
onto a backpack. A few different companies
make them, but mine are from Zing. When I
went to a balloon festival recently I had
two lens pouches hanging from my belt, and
I switched between three lenses, making
sure to put the rear cap on each one when
I put it in the bag. (I gave up on the
front caps after a while because I had
UV filters on all the lenses.) It was a
little hairy trying to switch lenses in a
hurry and put the rear caps on and I
fumbled a lot, but I can't imagine an
easier way to do it because
the pouches were right at my waist.
When I was done with the shoot, the pouches
simply went into my regular backpack.
> I have a Domke F3 Bag and when i'm out shooting i sometimes need to change
lenses quickly and it would be advantages to not have to put the lense caps
back on the lenses when i put them in the bag. What everyones opinions on
this? Each lense has its own little padded divider in the bag, so they would
be knocking against each other.
Any comments appreciated, a few of them have UV filters on them, but not all
the time.
Regards,
Paul Jones
