Dave -- I have a number of 620 spools and a darkbag, if you want to borrow and 
experiment.

I've never re-rolled film myself, though I've always wanted to try my Vest 
Pocket Kodak Model B.

I also have a case of vintage film in the basement if you want to go authentic. 
 It was still quite useable last year.

You need 620 spindles or on some cameras you can trim down 120 spindles 
to work, but it is a pain and typically doesn't work on the take-up 
spool for Kodak's.
