Yes, it does. Vuescan's RAW conversion implementation is derived from the inclusion of the open source dcraw libraries. It does an good job in many ways, with the usual Vuescan controls, if you like that way of working. It does not do hot pixel removal or highlight detail extraction, and is somewhat primitive in use compared to others. But I've converted a lot of RAW files with it in the past. Nowadays, I use Camera Raw almost exclusively, although I'm getting hot to be done with the work for the current show I'm hanging so I can spend some time getting comfortable with the Lightroom beta 3 application, see how it integrates with my work.
