And mine did - although not a complete dunking... 
The Canon was set on a surface that I had not noticed had a
couple of teaspoonsful of water
in it  - then sloshed around for a couple of hours til I
discovered it...
may own damn fault for not checkin gthe bag after using it
for carrying iced stuff
