Pentax ESII: Meter gave up. Camera-fixer person reckoned it was too
much trouble to replace it, so I just bought a light meter instead.
Must dig this out and use it again.

Pentax ME-II: The meter started getting a bit flaky after a few months
in a Hong Kong summer (30+ degrees C and 90%+ humidity). I went out
and bought an MZ-5.

Tamron 28-200 one touch zoom. Stopped focussing at infinity at about
the same time as the ME-ii was expiring. Solution: stop using it.

Pentax MZ-5: little nub holding RTF spring broke. Unable to hold the
RTF upright. I just use a finger to hold it up.

Pentax PZ-1p. little nub holding RTF spring broke. Unable to hold the
RTF upright. I just use a finger to hold it up.

(I must be hard on my RTFs...)

Seagull 6x6: autmatic shutter cocking mechanism expired, despite
several strip downs and rebuilds. Solution: retire the Seagull to
bookend for photo books.

Pentax 6x7: Too Damn Heavy and noisy. Great camera though. Solution:
go to the gym more often.

Pentax MX: I don't entirely trust the meter.

Pentax LX: Reputation for complexity and sticky mirror problems puts
me off buying one. (No, I don't have one, and in fact was considering
getting an Olympus to play with OTF metering.)

Pentax PZ-5: Lens mount damaged by twit knocking PA system on top of
it. Solution: shout at twit. Bought PZ-1p (for same price,
ironically).

Tokina 28-70/f2.8 Lens broken by twit above. Replaced with another.

Sigma 70-200/f4. Lens dropped. Replaced with FA* 80-200/f2.8.

That's about it. Also suffer from LPS (Lame picture syndrome), of
course.
