Here's my list:

Bodies
======

K-1000:
1) This body working perfectly after 20 years but doesn't
have enough "bells and whistles". Solution: Gave it to
my kid, and now I want it back. Grin.

KM:
1) Gooey mirror foam: replaced by gluing in harder
closed cell black "craft foam". Inevitable problem with any
camera. Yeah, I know, I shoulda used the "proper" foam.
2) Meter stopped working: I resoldered a wire to the battery
connector. Required removing the bottom plate.
3) Hotshoe failed. Solution: use PC flash cord. The PC terminal
still works.

KX:
1) Gooey mirror foam fixes like KM.

K2:
1) I don't own one yet and know I shouldn't buy one. Must not
share too many innards with the other K-bodies. Yet it's the
only K body I don't own. Solution: Read PDML to see how others
like it.

Super program:
1) Rubber cap on film advance lever fell off.
Solution: Glued on part of a Kodak film cannister top
shaped to fit.

Lenses
======

Rikonon 80-200 one-touch f4 zoom prone to VERY BAD flare.
Solution: gave this lens to my kid. (I'm a sleezy one, I am.)

KA 50mm f1.7 aperature ring is "gritty". Solution: live with
it.  I'm a'skeered of losing ball-bearings, and I am ham-handed.

Wifey dropped her Sigma AF 28-70 macro zoom onto hard concrete
at the zoo last week. Solution: Grit your teeth (It's a Sigma
piece of taped-together crap, right?), pick it up, and try out all
it's functions. It still works, so slap it back on her ZX-M and
thank the Sigma Gods.

Bad Shots (worst problem I have)
=========

This problem is beginning to cause me to whine involuntarily
in my sleep. Solution: Buy an F5 and every lens Nikon makes
costing more than USA $2,000. This Pentax stuff must be
CRAP, right?
