No. I think only Sweden changed quite a long time ago, the rest always drove
on the correct (=right) side of the road.

Well, this is not quite so. Mostly in Europe it is 19/8/01 which is used,
according to an ISO standard it is 20010819, and in the USA 8/19/01.
The ISO standard makes sense because it has the least significant number on
the right, just as most other numbers. In day to day life it start with the
day as the least significant, which is another choice. In the USA the least
significant part is in the middle, which doesn't makes sense at all. I work
for a global company, and the date format is often a problem. I prefer
19-Aug-2001 so that it is clear what the meaning is. It is also one of the
formats standard built in to Windows.
