Jens, why are you making it out as if people who disagree with "if you shoot digital you're not critical or you spend a lot of time fiddling with the result" hate film or believe digital to be superior to film? YOU are the one person who has said such a thing.
I shoot digital because I can turn around the results much faster. I am very critical of the results and if you're so dead set on not believing me, I'll put up one of my straight out of the camera files. Any other work I shoot on medium format film because I prefer the results. (That said, I'm very impressed with the high ISO performance of the DS2 and it looks like I'm going to transition things I would shoot on high speed negative over to it once I'm more comfortable with it.) I do not hate film. I do not believe that film is inferior to digital in the general case. I just think that your original statement was offensive and based on bad data -- that you're not using your camera to its fullest. -Aaron -----Original Message----- From: "Jens Bladt" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subj: RE: Coming Soon - A new K-mount Film Camera Date: Sun Jul 2, 2006 3:02 pm Size: 2K To: "Pentax-Discuss Mail List" <[email protected]> I'm sorry if some of you people don't understand or don't want to understand why people use film. I still think there are many good reasons to use film. So do the people whi buy film, obvioulsy. I have mentioned three good reasons. I'm sure there are many more. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
