I agree with Godfrey here, but in the case above it's probably fair to
point out, that other than for casual experimentation in the digital
world, the cost of going beyond visible light moves from a relatively
inexpensive "operating" expense (changing film) to a relatively
expensive "capital" investment (new camera body or back).

The great thing, however, is that all of the options are still on the
table.  Film, digital, the whole works.  You can have them all on your
palette and chose whatever works for you.
