Not any less baffled, but I have similar problems with my Netgear
router and/or a Linksys USB wireless adapter.  One of our PCs is
connected wireless and frequently the browser stops working.  It
usually happens after when the PC is idle, but sometimes while I'm
using it.  A few weeks ago it got to the point that I was having to
repair the connection about every five minutes.  Uninstalling and
re-installing the wireless adapter's drivers solved the problem for a
while.  The problem started again the day before yesterday.  If you
find a real solution, I'd love to hear it.
