I use the 334B, which has a one grip adjustment (+ you must sometime prolong the lower part of the leg (by turning it) - which requires two hand. I guess the latter adjust ment is supposed to be done once and for all in order fo fit your hight. I't simply great - I wouldn't wnat one with a four piece telescopic leg. I use mine almost every day.

It doubles as a walking staff, but it can also be used as a monopod, or, get this, a tripod. The lower part of the Trek Pod has the three legs held together by a velcro strip. You can unlock the legs by pulling the strip off. The head of the Trek Pod is a ball head. The camera is held on the ball head using a magnet. Everytime I use it, I get a lot of comments on it. Two friends have purchased one for their use. Jim A. > On Wed, Jul 12, 2006 at 10:39:41AM -0400, gfen wrote: >> >> The "proper" way to use a monopod is to angle it forward, and then lean >> into it.
