That almost does it, but actually there is a little adapter  you can put 
on some guns that allows you to set the depth you wish to drive to 
relative to the surface.   Takes care of variations in the product your 
dealing with to give very consitent results even if the operator goes to 
sleep .. or alsmost so. .   The point here is you have to ajdust it, and 
and use it.   However if you have never seen one ... need I say more.   
In hind site, we had a bit of fun with the contractor to pay for the 
rest of the misery.   Fortunately, everyone kept their heads through it 
all picking up responsibilities appropriately ... and we all had a bit 
of chuckle when it was all over ... at least that is the view from this 
seat...
