Hmmm, I think I can mount an ND filter in that lens, but wide open, I would be closer to 1/2000 second. That tower was probably a quarter mile from where I was standing, so I'm not sure if the focal point could be significantly changed. I'll go downtown on Tuesday and run some more pictures off, and will be more scientific about it as well. At the moment, though, I am very excited about this new technology.
