Well, *my* biggest complaint about digital SLRs is the susceptibility to dust. A sensor with in-camera SR has an obvious approach to this problem; shake the sensor very fast to shake the dust off. This is used in the Olympus E-series bodies, and also in the new Sony A100 (which uses the 10.2MP sensor rumoured to be in the forthcoming K10D). I've been waiting to see if this trick shows up in the new bodies.
