There's also a Chinese company that got the K1000 tooling, they build a number of cheap K1000 clones in various mounts(including a C/Y mount version sold by Braun). Crap QC and mostly plastic stuff though. Nikon was the last major manufacturer to make a mechanical SLR, the FM3a, and even then, the excellent 45mm f2.8P pancake lens that was the kit for it was made by ...
