There exist no lightweight zoom that hold the optical standards I demand. The closest
thing is the FA* 28-70/2.8. However, its big, heavy, delicate and have rotating front
element which is a hassle with the two only filters I use; polarizers and split ND
filters. The zoom weigts 800g while the set of the 31/1.8 Limited, 43/1.9 Limited and
77/1.8 Limited weights together 770g. Guess what I'll choose?
I also need fast lenses for my Aurora shooting.

Yes. Film flatness may be a problem with the 645 but I almost exclusively experienced
it in the winter time at low temperatures.
