I'll admit it.  I don't see the point of this thread.

I took almost all of my modest collection to GFM.  Partly to show off (as 
if), partly because I enjoy shooting with all my cameras.  Partly because I 
thought somebody might like a chance to fondle one or two of them, having 
never had the opportunity to see that particular model before.

OTOH, I took only my *ist-D and a 28-105 with me on a family hike in the 
woods on Monday...

So tell me, what's the point?
